Dunlop Render & Preparation Products
Dunlop Trade’s Australian rendering range sits within a wider building-products catalogue. For a rendering enquiry, the main comparison is between its render bases, fine finishing product, patching material and texture coat. Other Dunlop adhesives or flooring products should not be substituted for these materials.
Product ranges and their roles
Multipurpose Acrylic Render
This bagged render is listed for applications including AAC, brick, concrete blocks and concrete walls. The word acrylic does not make it interchangeable with a ready-mixed product; mixing, build and finishing follow its own technical sheet.
Ready-to-Go Render
Ready-to-Go is a premixed product with listed applications including blue board and painted surfaces. Existing-paint adhesion, sheet joints and preparation still need assessment before it is selected.
Fine and coloured finishes
Flexible Fine Coat Render and Coloured Render Texture Coat are separate finish selections. Older references may use the name Multipurpose Fine Coat Render; check the current label and instructions when matching a previous specification.
Jointing, patching and preparation
Joint & Patch, Primer & Additive, Bond Coat and Multipurpose Primer serve different preparation roles. The specified substrate and rendering system determine which are required.
Choosing a system for your wall
A small repair and a complete facade coating can need different preparation and products. Compare the permitted substrate, thickness, curing and finishing requirements of the exact Dunlop material. Ready-to-Go and Multipurpose Acrylic Render should not be treated as equivalent simply because both are used for rendering.
