Novatex Render & Texture Products
Novatex’s range includes rendering and architectural finishes alongside preparation and other building materials. For a facade project, the useful comparison is between the selected render base, texture and supporting primer, rather than every product carrying the Novatex name.
Product ranges and their roles
Render and levelling products
SPR Acrylic is described as an acrylic-modified render for substrates including AAC blocks, brickwork, concrete and concrete blocks. Hi Build Lo Weight is an acrylic-modified cement render for levelling; the acrylic label does not make it cement-free.
Patching and preparation
Base & Patch, Flex N Patch, Hydro Prime, Novaprime, Optimus Primer and Tint N Prime address different preparation stages. Novabond Additive is the current title shown at the older Novamix Additive web address.
Architectural texture choices
Crystal Coarse, Fine Skim, Medium Float, Saturn Smooth and Valencia appear in the current range. Compare the actual sample and intended application rather than assuming similar product names give the same grain.
Polished and decorative appearance
Cemento Polished is a separate architectural finish option. Confirm the product system, substrate, protective treatment and project suitability before choosing it for a feature surface.
Choosing a system for your wall
A high-build material, patch and finishing texture perform different jobs. On an older rendered home, the preparation decision comes first: loose render, moisture and movement must be assessed before selecting a replacement coating. Current product labels are also important because some older Novatex pages remain searchable.

For repairs, include close-ups of cracking and a wider view of each elevation. For new work, send the substrate specification and desired texture. The quote should identify which preparation and finishing products are included.
