Unitex Render, Textures & Bagging
Unitex offers materials for several stages of a rendered wall: preparation, base render, decorative texture and protection. Its range also includes Base Board cladding and Uni-Shape architectural profiles. Start with the wall construction and the finish you want, then select the compatible layers.
Product ranges and their roles
Cement base renders
Redi Render, Aero Render, Harbour Fine and Fast-R are names in the base-render range. Redi Render is a dry cement-based masonry product, despite wording elsewhere in the catalogue that can sound like a wet premix.
Acrylic render and texture
Polymer Render Wet is a separate selection from dry cement render. Unitex also lists trowel and roll-on textures in different grades; the texture number and approved sample matter when matching a finish.
Bagging Finish 109 and 110
These proprietary finishes offer a bagged appearance. Bagging Finish 110 is an acrylic-bound textured coating, so its preparation and coating sequence differ from traditional mortar bagging.
Cladding and architectural details
Base Board systems combine board, reinforcement and coatings. Uni-Shape mouldings add architectural detail; the exact profile, fixing and coating specification must be selected together.
Choosing a system for your wall
For an existing brick home, first decide whether to retain the outline of the brickwork with a bagged effect or conceal it with a levelled render finish. For insulated cladding, the complete wall assembly controls product choice. A base render approved for masonry is not automatically suitable for EPS.

Send a wide wall photograph, a close-up of the brick or existing coating, and an example of the texture you want. For cladding or mouldings, include the drawings and any nominated Unitex specification.
